Korean Air to resume services to Zurich and China – Business Traveler

SkyTeam member Korean Air has announced extensive network expansion with the upcoming summer schedule starting March 31, including several route resumptions and many frequency increases on current routes.

The expansion will allow the airline's international capacity to reach about 96 percent of pre-pandemic levels, Korean Air said.

The airline will resume flights between Seoul and Zurich starting April 2 with three-times-weekly service on two-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Additionally, starting April 23, Korean Air will return to Zhangjiajie in China from its Incheon hub, also with three-times-weekly service.

Starting April 24, the airline will resume four weekly flights to Zhengzhou, also in China.

Next, on April 25, Korean Air will resume daily flights on the Busan-Bangkok route after a nearly four-year hiatus.

Additionally, Korean Air will increase its flight frequencies on the Seoul Incheon-Budapest route from three to four flights per week, while the Seoul Incheon-Bangkok route will increase from three to four flights per day, and the Seoul Incheon-Manila route will increase from two to Three flights daily.

Since January, the airline has also added two additional frequencies on the Seoul Incheon-Bali route to offer 11 weekly flights.

In North America, Korean Air will upgrade the Seoul Incheon-Dallas route from four weekly flights to daily flights.

With its global hub at Incheon International Airport (ICN), the flag carrier currently serves 111 cities in 40 countries on five continents with a fleet of 160 aircraft.
