IHG signs new build Holiday Inn Resort in Karjat, Maharashtra, India
Dark/light mode (12/19/23) IHG has signed a management agreement with XECO Media to open a Holiday Inn Resort in the state of Maharashtra, India.
Scheduled to open in 2027, the newly built 150-room resort will be situated in Karjat, which is equidistant from the two major cities of Mumbai and Pune.
Surrounded by lush greenery and farmland overlooking a seasonal stream, the Holiday Inn Resort Karjat will primarily cater to adventure seekers, trekkers and travelers looking to escape city life.
The hotel will feature a restaurant, bar, lobby lounge, fitness center and health club, as well as a variety of meeting and event spaces.

IHG currently has 45 hotels operating under five brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and a portfolio of 45 hotels opening in the next 3-5 years.
