IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a management agreement with Mansarovar Amusement Park & ​​Resort to develop the Crowne Plaza Resort Nepalgunj in Nepal, scheduled to open in early 2028. Nepalgunj, located in Banke district, is a vibrant and diverse sub-metropolitan city that serves as a key transportation hub for western Nepal. Located near the southern border with the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, it is a convenient stopover for travelers between Nepal and India. Nepalgunj, known for its trekking routes to the Dolpo Plateau and Jumla region, offers a strategic gateway to the Himalayas, combining culture, adventure and nature. The new resort will be easily accessible from the Nepalgunj airport and the India-Nepal border, and will cater to leisure and package travel needs.

Upon opening, the complex will feature three distinct restaurants offering a variety of culinary experiences. Guests can relax in the fitness center, club lounge, rejuvenating spa, and retail store.
