On the screen, the producer of multihiphenate screenwriters Paul Feig is better known for fun and fun movies as “bridesmaids”, “Last Christmas” and “To simple favor.” And out of the screen, he is known for his impeccable sense of style, the enthusiastic hug of cocktail culture (the gynebres brand of his artillon makes frequent cameos in his films) and is an inclination for everything spicy.

On Sunday Funday, the people of Los Angeles give us a play per game of their ideal Sunday in the city. Find ideas and inspiration about where to go, what to eat and how to enjoy life on weekends.
“I am a lot about hot and hot heat,” he told Times in a recent interview. “I just love [heat]. I can't eat anything without putting some type of spicy sauce. I think it's because when I was a child, all the food in Michigan at that time was so soda that I thought he hated food. It turns out that I hated Bland. ”
Before his last work, the thriller “Another simple favor”, which began to transmit on Amazon Prime Thursday, boots the director Dandy on his ideal Sunday, which includes navigating for Western clothes, taking a ball game, doubleing with the Mexican rate and satisfying that tooth of spices every time.
This interview has been slightly edited and condensed by length and clarity.
7 am: water or walk
I always try to sleep, and it never happens. So, if I sleep until 7, that's a miracle for me. I like to get up and make aquatic aerobics for my exercise in our pool or I will have an hour of four miles through my neighborhood of Lake Toluca, which is really pleasant. And that always ends with me Patys cafeteria At the end of my walk.

8 am: appears in Patys
I've been going there for 30 years and having breakfast there forever. But Sunday is a bit fun because there are more people there, and it is a great local meeting place. I arrive early, they open at 8, because it is filled later on Sundays. My main order is to obtain this [dish] I called electric lunch but for breakfast. It is a grilled chicken breast, and I understand it with a double side of steamed broccoli instead of rice. And I don't get bread, but I ask for one side of the sauce. That is my healthy food. And if I want to cheat a little, they have very good gluten -free pancakes there, so I will get it with sausages.

10 am: Explore Western goods
After that, I will walk home and maybe I will jump to the pool and then shower and go out to some of the stores that I like to visit all the time and I have this country. [and] Western wear circuit. I am obsessed with this place in Van Nuys called Country General Store Because I really like cowboy boots. And they are one of the last places that takes many Lucchese boots and are my favorite brand. They are always receiving new ones, so I'll go see the new selection. And they also have good hats there.
There is also a place in Beverly Hills called West That has really great boots and jewelry for really great men, so I like to go there. And a place at sunset called Starting star That always has a lot of vintage western clothes. There is actually where I got the outfit I used in South by Southwest: the coat with the strip is a [Mealey’s Pitic Leather Handcrafted] Jacket of the 70s. Making the entire circuit is very fun. They need a few hours, but most of that is driving. And then I will appear in each place for five or 10 minutes.
Noon: see a spicy sauce yearning
That takes me to lunch, which would be one of the two places. If it ended at Beverly Hills, well, this would not count if it were Sunday because they are closed, but [I’m mentioning it because] Brighton cafeteria It has the best spicy sauce. I get the breakfast cheese, which serve with this spicy sauce that makes internally good and really hot. He only knew and the [waiter is like,] “Lord, you know it's hot.” And I say: “Don't worry! I like it very hot!” The S is burned, outside my mouth. But it's really tasty.
If I return to [San Fernando] Valley, I will go to Don Cuco [Mexican Restaurant] – The original in Riverside Drive, not that of the Burban Center. It is my favorite place for Mexican food of the old school. He has been there forever. The waiters are really friendly, and some of them have met since they were beds, so it is fun to see them. My favorite is the Pibil Cochinita. It is a slow roasted pork that they do days in advance, so it falls apart and serve it with bananas. I understand it with standard black beans, not creamy, and one side of the tortillas. And the sauce of Don Cuco's house is great.

3 PM: Below for Dodgers
If there is a game of the Dodgers, I love to do it because I have seasonal tickets and I love to go to a ball game. I was in the game where they beat the [New York] Mets to enter the World Series. And I went to game 2 of the real world series, but I wasn't there the night Freddie Freeman hit the Grand Slam. I was in New York seeing in my apartment and made so much noise that the goalkeeper called and said: “I think the neighbors are worried about you.”
If there is no game, we have this type of exterior interior patio space [at home] Next to the pool, so I will sit under that and upload myself up to date with my show reading: scripts that have sent us, scripts that we are developing, new drafts [of scripts]. Then, when the sun is no longer flying, I will return to the pool.

6 pm: mix a creative cocktail
This [part of the evening] I could involve opening a pleasant and light pink like a Château Minuty. And there is always time for a cocktail. I am usually a Martini fan, but I am trying not to be too explosive on a Sunday, so I will make a gin and a soda. There is a drink called Ranch Water that is Tequila, Juice de Lima, a little Cointreau and Topo Chico. I have created my own version of the so -called Palace Water. I like to use a bit of Grand Marnier. It is a bit orange and unites everything.

7:30 PM: Tell the Taxco gardens to take
Now we get to dinner and I love Mexican food, so I have no problem duplicating in Mexican. do you remember The Taxco Gardens Restaurant at West Hollywood? Well, it's gone now. He closed a few years ago, which destroyed me because I used to eat two or three times a week. But they still cook the food [for pickup or delivery] Right in Santa Monica Boulevard [in West Hollywood]And the food is as good as it was. I get the [Salsa de Ajo Picante] Garlic shrimp, and instead of rice and beans, vegetables skip me. And they have a small quesadilla with guacamole and always give you this little pudin[-like dessert] With bananas in him. So I will drive and pick it up.
Or I could go to a friend's house. For years and years, every day for my wife, Laurie, and I had dinner with our friends Betsy Beers and Bruce Cormicle. She is a commercial partner of Shonda Rimes, and he is a lawyer who makes legal consulting for some shows and is an incredible cook. Always cook these great parties at your home in Brentwood, and there is always a topic: sometimes it is a Mexican theme, it is sometimes a French theme, it is sometimes shellfish. And it's fantastic. I mix Martinis and we had a great time.

9:30 pm: ends with a real crime, and maybe a Martini
We are not really at night, so we are generally at home at 9 or 9:30 pm, and then it's “What are we going to see?” It will be a movie or television, and there is a lot out there that I try to prevent me from getting caught in a television program that has a million episodes because I will hook myself. And then it becomes everything, so I prefer to find a series in which you have three episodes, a great film or documentary. I really liked “apple cider vinegar” and the history of true crime [“Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke”] About the Mormon Mormon of YouTube. We are at the scammer's age, and I am fascinated by human nature and what people think they can get their way.
But sometimes, if we return early, I will go to The smoke house [Restaurant], Which is right in our house and has a martini at night. Ah, and everyone talks about garlic bread there, but they are excellent hot wings.
