How to have the best Sunday in Los Angeles, according to Gabby Windey

Spiritually, Gabby Windey has to do with Sundays in a hardcore way, without exceptions, rest day. Podcast presenter “Long Welled” became the “The Traitars” star this year after winning the reality show competition with a series of daring attire and strategic movements that highlight stereotypes. His podcasts of the podcasts of the current of consciousness continue to increase their star, often viral on Instagram and Tiktok for their vocal reality. It is now reserved and busy beyond the believer, a mixed bag for Windey.

On Sunday Funday, the people of Los Angeles give us a play per game of their ideal Sunday in the city. Find ideas and inspiration about where to go, what to eat and how to enjoy life on weekends.

“You know I'm always asking for a break,” says Windey. “They are things that I want to be busy, so I really can't complain. But yes, I'm always looking for my next nap.”

That makes Sundays feel like a “special occasion” for her, especially because it is slow and quality with her wife, comedian Robby Hoffman. Together, Windey and Hoffman spend their Sundays in the most identifiable way possible: displacing online, watching television and movies, drugged with friends and snacks.

Sundays are also the last example of the famous “business hours” of Windey, the time after the 3 pm in which Windy's confidence collapses and would prefer to “bother me with a boring stick” that Facetime for work. Oh of anyone who would bother Windey on a Sunday.

“God does not allow it, if someone sends an email a Sunday, blocks and eliminates, shoots everyone,” says Windey. “On Sunday I am closed for business. I will not listen to a pye of me.”

9 am: salt from bed, go back to bed

We will sleep until, hopefully, 9 or something. Robby works nights, you know, it's a standing comedian. I am like blaming [sleeping in] In it, but I can easily sleep 10 hours per night. So yes, we like a lazy morning.

We will go coffee. We are right next to Lamill now. Then we will return home and make the crossword of the New York Times, the connections, the wool in bed.

Normally, when Robby has had its fair part how to show me YouTube clips or reels, I will begin to be anxious. I am like, “enough of this. Let's go.”

11 am: edible and tamales

We will walk to Silver Lake Farmers Market. Robby does many of the purchases of groceries, and I will simply get a tamale. They are $ 5 and they are huge. I like a red sauce and a green sauce, so it's like beef with red sauce and chicken with green sauce, but I also like a dessert size, a sweet tamale. I am half Mexican and my mother did not cook except tamales. So it is a very comforting meal.

Robby is really good in the purchases of groceries, so I let her go. But we have fresh berries. We will make vegetarian sandwiches throughout the week, which is like Roman lettuce, mushrooms, tomatoes and cucumber. We will get those ingredients and any strange food that there is, you know, there is always as something fermented hippie that is supposed to be good for you.

Noon: Back to bed.

I have to take a break.

1 PM: The Prerols in the Park

For [the weed holiday] 4/20, we met with friends at Silver Lake Meadow. First I went to Botany To get some snacks. They have good snacks, so I get this very good carrot hummus. It's like sweet. I have some good cookies, a little goat cheese wrapped in tea leaves. It sounds better than it really was. And I'm exploring na [nonalcoholic] options. So I have a bit of Ghia. People die for it. But I'm like, I don't know. I didn't sell myself at all. He is not giving me a buzz. Surprisingly, there is nothing in him! But I still want a buzz of some kind, which enters the grass. Then we went to the park to be drugged with the prerols of Edie Parker, talk to, with some friends for three hours and eat good snacks. (Note: Windey has an association with the fashion brand and cannabis Edie Parker).

4:30 pm: take a movie

Then we will go watch a movie. Let's go – with the American [at Brand] hard. We love corn popcorn, we love ease. We will like food to enter and leave, you know, I don't even think I should put it anymore. We have not caught ourselves, but we always have the background history that we are gluten without, or that we are Kosher, because Robby grew Jasídica. Then she knows what Kosher is to be, and I suppose it would be a good excuse to sneak into the food to the cinema.

7:30 pm: eat special occasion sushi

After the movies, we will probably leave, as on an appointment night. I love sushi, obviously, who doesn't? Then we will go to Sugar fishBecause it is as if you had the same every time. You know, it's very reliable. EITHER Kombu Sushi In Silver Lake. They have a large baked crab roll that literally long for. But I like to keep it for a special occasion, for Sunday.

9:30 pm: Call it night

Back home, maybe I will care for the skin if I have energy, which after this Sunday seems not to do it. Apart from that, we could see a program, or I will do it as a facial mask. I will read about the Kindle, I am reading “adult children of emotionally immature parents.” I can't wait to end that. I am like, “ok, I just need to overcome this. And then I can start having fun reading again.” I did not get much of the American Lit category at school. So I'm trying to advance that. I just read the “hunched of Joan Didion to Bethlehem.” I could go to the other book that people think it is the best next.
