Leading commercial aviation company Gama Aviation has completed a 36,000 square meter parking apron, a major milestone on its path towards the completion of the Sharjah Commercial Aviation Centre.
Gama Aviation, which offers aircraft management, charter, maintenance, travel support and FBO services, will facilitate a range of business aircraft types, helicopters and future eVTOL air systems through the centre, which is expected to open in the second quarter of 2025.
The centre, which will provide business aviation infrastructure to Sharjah International Airport, will comprise a premium air-conditioned hangar of approximately 14,000 m², approximately 36,000 m² of dedicated aircraft parking apron, a world-class VVIP terminal, optimized rapid access to aircraft for owners and flight crew, fast road connections to downtown Dubai and the Dubai International Financial Centre, and enhanced in-house MRO capabilities.
