Emirates to resume second daily service to Perth – Business Traveler

Dubai's Emirates airline will resume a second daily service between Perth and Dubai from December 1, 2024.

The second daily service will be operated by the airline's Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, in addition to Emirates' daily A380 service.

The additional EK425 service will depart Dubai at 09:15 and arrive in Perth at 00:05 the following morning, while the original EK420 service departs Dubai at 02:45 and arrives in Perth at 17:20.

The Emirates A380 has 14 seats in first class and 76 in business. The 777-300ERs are smaller, with eight in first class and 42 in business class.

“Today's announcement represents another important step forward in rebuilding Western Australia's aviation capability and further strengthens Perth's global reputation as the Western gateway to Australia,” said Western Australian Acting Tourism Minister John Tortoiseshell.

“We are really proud to have returned or secured new non-stop flights to 19 global cities since borders reopened, and this is just another vote of confidence in Western Australia as a tourist destination,” he added.

“The reintroduction of Emirates' second daily service is great news as it will add significant capacity to the Perth market,” said Perth Airport Chief Operating Officer Scott Woodward.

“Emirates’ network is extensive, connecting to more than 140 destinations around the world, which is great news for Western Australian travelers, particularly those traveling via Dubai to the UK and Europe.”
