Dalata to open Maldron hotels in Manchester, Liverpool, Brighton and London – Business Traveler

Dalata Hotel Group is preparing to open four properties in the UK under its Maldron brand this summer.

First to arrive this week will be the 188-room Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter, the brand's second hotel in the city and located on Chapel Street, near Arndale Shopping Centre.

The Manchester property will be followed by the Maldron Hotel Liverpool, situated on Park Lane between the city's Liverpool One shopping, residential and leisure complex and the Royal Albert Dock. The 268-room hotel is currently accepting reservations starting July 2.

Meanwhile, the 221-room Maldron Hotel Brighton will open at the end of July on Cannon Place, close to the beach and the i360 observation tower.

Finally, the long-awaited Maldron Hotel Shoreditch is accepting bookings from August 9. The 157-room property was first announced in 2019.and it had been planned to be the first Maldron hotel in London, although that honor later fell to the Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park.

The hotels will feature facilities including the Grain and Grill restaurant, Red Bean Roastery, a gym and meeting rooms.

In total they will add 834 rooms to the brand's UK portfolio, which also includes properties in Belfast, Derry, Glasgow and Newcastle.

Irish hotel group Dalata currently operates around 11,400 rooms across 53 properties under its Maldron and Clayton brands.
