Ascott to open lyf Chinatown Singapore – Business Traveler

Hotel and serviced residential operator The Ascott Ltd has announced plans for the fifth property in Singapore under its lyf co-living brand.

Lyf Chinatown Singapore is scheduled to open in mid-2026 and will feature 90 accommodation units, a rooftop pool, an outdoor patio and terrace, a gym, a laundry room, a coworking lounge and a “kitchen.” social”.

The property will be located within a newly developed building adjacent to four pre-war conservation shophouses on Pagoda Street.

The lyf brand was launched in 2016.and opened its first property in Singapore in 2019. Pronounced “Life” and meaning “Live your freedom”, the brand has been designed “for the next generation traveler, including digital nomads, technopreneurs, creatives and entrepreneurs”.

Ascott aims for 150 lyf properties by 2030and the brand will debut in Europe this year with Lyf Gambetta Paris, located in a former printing press in the city's 20th arrondissement.
