Amora Brisbane, a new five-star property is now open after a $20 million refurbishment.

Located in Brisbane's CBD, the opening of the 296-room hotel makes a timely debut in a city that has its global events and MICE calendar packed for the year and beyond, including the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.

Amora Brisbane features 11 refurbished conference and event spaces spanning 1,148 square metres; an elevated outdoor pool and terrace, a gym and a sauna.

For dinner, Dapl Restaurant offers modern Australian cuisine using locally sourced produce and ingredients, complemented by the lobby bar and Two Donkeys Café.

Accommodation types range in size from Amora King and Amora Double rooms to Premier Rooms and Executive Suites, with some rooms offering private balconies overlooking the Brisbane skyline.

The former Novotel Brisbane, this $20 million transformation is the latest property to open by Thai-owned Amora Group, following the launch of Amora Beach Resort Phuket in December last year following a $14 million refurbishment.

Amora Brisbane is the sixth hotel to join a portfolio of hotels and resorts in Australia and Thailand, with a pipeline of future openings across the Asia Pacific region.

“As a company, we are looking to consolidate our footprint as a five-star hotel group in Australia and Thailand, and will achieve this by expanding in key cities in Asia Pacific and developing destinations in Southeast Asia. Our goal is to have 12 hotels in the region in the next five years,” said Amora Brisbane owner and director Earp Siriphatrawan, second-generation heir to the Amora Group.

Other hotels and resorts in its portfolio include Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney and Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne in Australia; and Amora Neoluxe Hotel Bangkok and Amora Hotel Chiang Mai in Thailand.
