AJEX Logistics will be a partner of “Hajj without luggage” for the second consecutive year – Business Traveler

AJEX Logistics Services, a Saudi Arabia-based Middle East specialist in express shipping and distribution solutions, has been selected as an official partner for the second consecutive year for the 'Baggage-Free Hajj' initiative. As part of the renewed partnership, AJEX will provide essential shipping and logistics services to transport Hajj pilgrims' luggage to and from their destinations, allowing them to travel with greater ease and comfort.

Considered the largest gathering of people in the world, the annual pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca attracted 1.84 million pilgrims in 2023. This year, the Hajj will begin on June 14 and end on June 19. It is expected to receive a similar number of visitors.

In 2023, AJEX transported 20,000 bags as part of the initiative, with no official customer complaints, losses or damages. This year, thanks to its warehouses in Mecca, Riyadh and Dammam, AJEX has managed to increase its capacity, so that it can transport up to 120,000 gift bags and packages to and from Mecca.

“Our customers can be assured that with our automated baggage sorting and handling, combined with state-of-the-art tracking systems and live online updates, we ensure minimal errors in processing and provide our customers with the highest levels of transparency, reliability, and excellence,” said Maha Almadi, regional sales and special projects manager at AJEX.
