The answers to today's Quordle, game #876, are…

This experiment is really over. I had a tremendously difficult game today, due to a combination of very difficult words and the fact that I'm not currently using my proven strategy for Quordle. Well, no more. Tomorrow I'm back to normal, after almost losing my streak here.

To be fair, is a very difficult set of words. All four are unusually spelled and uncommon: ABYSS has a repeated S and an out-of-position Y, BEEFY has a double E, OCTET with its two Ts, and PUPAL with a pair of Ps. She almost beat me and I suspect she will have challenged most people today.
