The answers to today's Quordle, game #874, are…

After years of having an established strategy for Quordle, which involves playing three starting words that use the most common letters in the game, I decided to change things up today… but I'm not sure I'd do it again. Yes, I solved the puzzle, but it took me exactly the same amount of guesswork as my previous approach, while it took me about three times as long to complete it. I'm not entirely sure what the point was or what he was trying to prove.

On the other hand, maybe this was just a difficult Quordle today. BELIE has a repeated E, SPOOL has a repeated O. URBAN is a relatively uncommon format with U at the beginning and B in the middle. I'll try again tomorrow and see if things improve.
