The answers to today's Quordle, game #875, are…

My second day using a random starter instead of my set three opening words went about as well as yesterday, by which I mean it was close to a disaster. Today I ended up needing eight guesses to solve the four answers. And again, that was on a day when today shouldn't have been too complicated; there is a repeated E in SWEET, but no other major complications.

I guess the bottom line here is that I've had my strategy for years for a reason: it works! I'll try one more time tomorrow, but that's all.
