NYT Strands Today (Game #93): The Answers
The answers to today's Strands game number 93 are…
- LOOK
- LEARN
- SPLIT
- CONQUER
- FORGIVE
- FORGET
- SPANGRAM: USEFUL TIPS
- My rating: Moderate
- My score: a track
I always have trouble in Strands when the topic is abstract, as it is today. HELPFUL TIPS – the spangram – sums up part of the challenge here, with the 'Purposeful Pairs' theme track telling the rest of the story.
I understood that I needed pairs, that part was easy. But the intentional side was harder to figure out and I was essentially stumbling around in the dark until I finally used a clue. That gave me LOOK, at which point the task became much easier. LEARN revealed itself to me immediately, and once I saw DIVIDE, it was easy to claim CONQUER as well. By this time the spangram was also evident and I solved the rest of the puzzle without problems.
