NYT Strands Today (Game #95): The Answers
The answers to today's 95th Strands game are…
- GLASS
- STONE
- DRIFTING WOOD
- BOTTLE
- SHELL
- FOSSIL
- SPANGRAM: HAIR ON THE BEACH
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Mega-perfect
This may well be the easiest Strands puzzle of the week, insofar as I got a 'megaperfect' score, the term I coined for when you solve Strands without even discovering a single keyword, let alone using any of them. .
In part, that was because the theme track, 'Tidal Treasures', didn't leave much room for ambiguity, a fact that became even more apparent when I immediately claimed GLASS and it turned blue. GLASS led directly to STONE and I was on my way. DRIFTWOOD, BOTTLE, SHELL and FOSSIL followed with a minimum of fuss, and somewhere along the way I also got the spangram.
