Netflix has released a new advertisement for Bridgerton fourth season, and makes it clear that we'll be following a new romantic lead this time around: Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson.
The announcement video (see below) showcases some of the character's moments from existing seasons of the show, such as Bridgerton Season three and season two, before moving to the actor behind the scenes.
In the next clip, an unseen voice tells him, “I hear we're fitting you for a costume.” Thompson replies that he already has an outfit for that night, but the voice explains, “It's not for tonight. It's for the masquerade ball.” In that case, “come on in.”

With Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton's story coming to an end at the end of the second part of season three, the new season will focus on Benedict Bridgerton. Fans were also eager to see more of Eloise and Francesca, but their stories might have to wait until the next seasons of the show.
The news doesn't come as a big surprise, as Benedict is the main character in the third season. Bridgerton The third season skipped the previous episode to focus on Penelope and Colin, so Benedict's story had already been delayed. The book, An offer from a gentlemanhas been described as the Cinderella from Bridgerton and features Sophie Beckett, a young woman who sneaks into the masquerade ball in hopes of finding her Prince Charming. Or as one fan of the show put it in a post on X/Twitter: “BENOPHIE CONFIRMED.”

We'll have to wait a bit for season four. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter last month, showrunner Jess Brownell said: “We're working on trying to get the seasons out more quickly, but it takes eight months to shoot them, then you have to edit them, then you have to dub them into all the languages… we're at a two-year pace.” But Brownell says it will be worth the wait. “I feel like it's some of my best work and the best work of my writing team,” she told the magazine. “We're firing on all cylinders, so I can't wait for the fans to see what we've got.”
