Jeff Goldblum's new Netflix show, Chaos, The actor plays a god – literally, because he is the Greek god Zeus. The show is a very modern take on one of the oldest characters in mythology, and although reviews have been decidedly mixed Chaos It looks set to be another big hit for the streaming service. And if myths are more your thing, there are plenty more Netflix series to keep you entertained. Here are three of our favorites with divine scores on Rotten Tomatoes.
Blood of Zeus

Originally known as Gods and heroesThis adult animated series is set in Ancient Greece and follows Heron, the demigod son of Zeus, as he attempts to save Olympus and Earth. Heron is an invention of the series, though there were many demigods hinted at in the original myths. Season 1 has the overall rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and so does the second season. Espinof says it is “one of the most entertaining animated series out there.”
According to ScreenAnarchy, “resplendent in dark, gorgeous animation, Blood of Zeus feels like a graphic novel come to life,” while Paste Magazine would clearly give the show's second season more than 100% if it could: “We finally have a follow-up season that largely matches and in many cases surpasses its predecessor thanks to compelling baddies, improved visuals, and equally clever allusions to ancient narratives.”
Ragnarok

Now in its third season, Ragnarok The story takes place in a small town poisoned by pollution and shaken by melting glaciers, where the end of time seems imminent. It's a coming-of-age story with a dark mythological twist and some black humor, centering on two young men who happen to be the latest incarnations of Thor, god of thunder, and Loki, god of mischief.
According to Book and Film Globe: “Ragnarok “It's awkward and weird at its finest,” and that's a compliment: the original mythos is awkward and weird, too, and “the young characters on this show really do feel genuinely angry in a way that's appropriate for youth, particularly in terms of the kinds of issues young people are facing these days.”
The Sandman

We're not sure we'd recommend it given the allegations against creator Neil Gaiman, but it would be a shame if the great work and performances on display here were overshadowed by its writer. The Sandman very highly, describing it as “almost brilliant” and paying special attention to an “extremely talented cast that brings to life The Sandman “eclectic cast of characters”:
Tom Sturridge, Gwendoline Christie, Boyd Holbrook, Vivienne Acheampong, Jenna Coleman and Mason Alexander Park. It is the story of Morpheus, one of the seven mythical beings, who becomes trapped on Earth and discovers that the Dimension of Dreams he called home has collapsed.
