What Solid Snake variants are being added?
Only one true Solid Snake variant will be added as part of the fortnite x metal gear Cross. Old Snake can be earned, which fans will know appears primarily in Metal Gear Solid 4. There are small variations where you can add Snake's binoculars or keep them off, but that's it for now.
fortnite is set to add Solid Snake from metal gear series. He is the extra aspect of this season and brings with him a lot of spy-focused elements. As with most additional skins, Solid Snake was not available at the beginning of fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, instead of unlocking mid-season. We still have a little bit of waiting time left, but fortunately not too much.
The current season of fortnite has added weapon attachments to the ongoing Battle Royale shooter. Not only that, but also Peter Griffin from the TV show. Family man has joined the fun, appearing as one of many mini-bosses, each holding a shield-regenerating medallion. Solid Snake will be available soon, along with a very interesting looking variant.
This is when fortnite Solid Snake comes out, as well as a brief look at the items you'll be able to earn once he does. Please note that items are currently grayed out in-game and will be revealed at a later date. However, it just so happens that they can be found on one of Epic's official websites, so let's take a look.
Fortnite Solid Snake Release Date
fortnite Solid Snake will be released on January 23, 2024. This appears on the main Battle Pass screen, as shown in the image above. You'll see a timer at the top left, counting down to January 23rd. Exact times have not yet been announced.
Fortnite Solid Snake Items
If you go to the Solid Snake screen of the fortnite launcher, you'll notice that, for now, the items are grayed out as question marks. Fortunately, Solid Snake's items are displayed in the fortnite website. They include the following:
- old snake skin
- Style night vision goggles
- Metal Gear Back Ornament
- Glider
- Stun Knife Pickup Tool
- Weapon Wrap
We'll know the official names of some of these items once they're added to the game. For now, you can see them on the website and in the embedded image above. Unlocking them will likely be done through specific missions. We bet they'll involve shooting cameras, sneaking past enemies, and maybe even some cardboard box shenanigans. We'll have to wait and see.
