Backrooms is A24's next horror film that adds to the production company's impressive repertoire and I'm already delighted with how good it looks. A short trailer was released ahead of its May 29 release.
There are plenty of exciting new movies coming this year, and among them are some great horror offerings. I was recently impressed by Neon's first trailer for Exit 8which sees a man trapped in a subway station reflecting the liminal horror of Backrooms.
I'm very excited to see more of this intriguing horror universe explored, especially since Kane Parsons is directing and I'm already a big fan of him. Backrooms web series.

A24's new film has perfectly captured the spooky atmosphere of The Backrooms
If, like me, you spend a lot of time reading strange and creepy Internet stories, you'll know how important the concept of “The Backrooms” is. It has spawned many threads, podcasts and even video games, my favorite being the horror walking simulator. POOLS.
For me, it's the uncertainty of The Backrooms that makes it so compelling. You never know exactly what's around the corner or what might be following you as you try to navigate these liminal spaces. They can be seemingly ordinary things like office blocks or shopping malls, but abandoned and not quite good. Their idea is that you have stepped out of reality into a strange dimension that feels like our reality, but is anything but.
Right now, we know it follows a therapist's patient who disappears into a dimension and stars. doctor strange Actor Chiwetel Ejiofor alongside Mark Duplass, known for his work in found footage horror films. Creep.
The mundane has never been so terrifying, and our first look at Backrooms It has made me feel very optimistic about the next film. I just hope it lives up to expectations.
