The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) and Mercedes-Benz have signed a new partnership that will see the German automobile giant become the exclusive mobility partner of Paris Fashion Week.

Mercedes-Benz will transport Paris' fashion crowd in 2026

The agreement covers the six catwalk seasons until 2026 in Paris, the undisputed capital of fashion in terms of shows, presentations and turnover of big brands.

“Starting with all editions of Paris Fashion Week and Haute Couture Week in 2026, Mercedes-Benz, as exclusive mobility partner, will provide the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode with a fleet of various Mercedes-Benz models at all events throughout the year,” the Federation and the automotive company said in a joint statement.

In effect, Mercedes Benz replaces French automaker Citroën, whose recent 4×4 version of its classic DS has transported editors, buyers and VIPs all over Paris for the past few seasons.

The FHCM organizes the six annual Paris Fashion Weeks in Paris, including two Haute Couture seasons; two weeks of women's ready-to-wear and two seasons of men's fashion. And it prides itself on fulfilling a double mission: as a professional organization, it provides services to its member fashion houses and represents them both in the professional ecosystem and before public authorities in France and Europe. And, as an event organization, it aims to consolidate Paris as the world capital of fashion.

Since 1995, Mercedes-Benz has actively worked to establish itself internationally as a major player in the global fashion industry. The company has provided travel and mobility services for multiple seasons on the runways, although this is the first time it has done so in Paris.

“By offering guests a premium mobility experience during the Paris fashion shows, the cars with the three-pointed star will reinforce the brand's promise of 'Welcome Home'. Throughout its Fashion Week programming, guests will be able to enjoy a moment of well-being in the midst of their professional activities, thanks to the comfort of a chauffeur in the elegant and safe space of a Mercedes-Benz,” the Stuttgart, Germany-based automotive giant said in its statement.

The agreement debuts with Paris Men's Fashion Week for the fall/winter 2026-2027 collections, scheduled for January 20-25, and Mercedes-Benz will provide the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode with a selection of different vehicle models.

The other five weeks and seasons in Paris are as follows chronologically: January 26-29, Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture Week; March 2-10, Paris Women's Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026-2027; June 23-28, men's spring/summer 2027; July 6-9, Haute Couture, fall/winter 2026-2027; and from September 28 to October 6, women's, spring/summer 2027.
