Jacquemus' next show will be presented on January 25, coinciding with the final day of the official six-day Paris menswear season and the night before the opening of the four-day Paris Haute Couture Week. The decision marks Jacquemus' return to the Picasso Museum, home of his spring 2018 “La Bomba” collection.

The choice of the Picasso Museum is the latest step in a long-standing policy by Jacquemus of building long-term relationships with cultural institutions. Jacquemus's previous shows and events were held at the Castle of Versailles, the Maeght Foundation and the Malaparte House in Capri.

Located in the heart of the Marais neighborhood, the Picasso Museum is one of the most charming mansions in the capital. A beautifully finished and aged late 17th century “hotel particuler”, built by a salt tax collector, the building was originally known as Hôtel Salé, from the French for “salty”. Designed in a mix of classicism and baroque, reflecting the style introduced by Cardinal Mazarin in France, the building has a particularly beautiful staircase.

At various times the mansion was the Embassy of the Republic of Venice and later a boarding school where Balzac studied. Before becoming the Picasso Museum in the late 70s and housing some 5,000 works of art by the most influential artist of the 20th century.

Throughout his career, Jacquemus has sought out atypical locations for his shows, from a lavender field in Provence to a huge wheat field in Normandy.

Last January 2025, opting for strict privacy, Simone Porte invited just 40 people to architect Auguste Perret's austere private apartment in Paris. Before moving on to the Palace of Versailles and its Orangerie, six months later.
