Giorgio Armani to build luxury residential complex in Brazil

World-renowned Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani has launched his first real estate project in Brazil. The Armani Group, through the interior design studio of the Armani/Casa luxury furniture line, will collaborate with Patrimar, a Belo Horizonte-based real estate developer with more than 60 years of experience in the sector, to design and build the residential units, common areas and services of a luxury complex in Brazil’s largest city, Rio de Janeiro.

Armani/Casa was founded exactly 20 years ago and is present in 29 countries with 40 stores. It will participate alongside Patrimar from the initial phase of the project, developing the interiors of the common areas of the towers, as well as defining the details, finishes, furniture and accessories for the interior of the properties, all of them from the Armani/Casa collections.

This new initiative joins other residential projects that Armani/Casa has developed and managed in major cities such as Miami, London, Dubai, Beijing, Tel Aviv, Manila, Mumbai and Istanbul.

The prestigious Rio de Janeiro complex will consist of four 22-storey towers with a total of 189 residential units and is designed to become an integral part of its natural surroundings. Alongside the luxury residences, other structures will be built to ensure that residents enjoy an active and sophisticated lifestyle.

Over the years, the group has developed dozens of high-end luxury residential and commercial real estate projects in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo. Since its first arrival in Rio de Janeiro in 2021, the group has sold an average of one residential unit per day, generating revenues of approximately R$2.5 billion (€408 million).
