The immersive experience celebrates the intersection of traditional Japanese crafts and the elegance of Celine, while honoring the 55 -year legacy of the Maison in Japan.

In its nucleus is Maki-E, an old lacquered technique in which the reasons are delicately painted with gold and silver powders. The practice is inspired by Waka's poetry and deeply rooted in Japanese inheritance.

The highlight of the exhibition is a series of works of art of Lacas with theme triumph created by the Japanese collective Hikoju Makie. These pieces combine symbolism, sustainability and innovation, underlining a shared dedication to the narration of stories through artisanal excellence.

Celine also presents three exclusive triumph bags in red, black and gold. Each piece is made of precious leather, lined with lamb leather, and finished with a motion flower motive that symbolizes continuity and longevity. Individually numbered and stamped in gold, these bags embody the fusion of French luxury and Japanese heritage.

The exhibition further explores this cultural dialogue through two short films by visual artist Soshi Nakamura. The hands at work highlight the crafts of Hikoju Makie and Celine, filmed in Kanazawa, Japan and Radda in Chianti, Italy. Meanwhile, ten landscapes of dreams, which are exhibited in a reflected room that faces a giant LED screen, presents a poetic journey of the triumph symbol through Japanese dream landscapes.

As part of the LVMH Gold Association with the Expo, Celine joins his partner Maisons Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chaumet and Moët Hennessy in representing France under the unifying theme of the pavilion: “A hymn to love.”
