The British Fashion Council has released the first details of London Fashion Week in September with Burberry, Dilara Findikoglu, Harris Reed, JW Anderson, Nensi Dojaka and Standing Ground are on the agenda.
Once again sponsored by 1664 Blanc, LFW continues its 40th anniversary celebrations with a series of events taking place from 12th to 17th September.
The programme is a digital-physical hybrid; LFW40 aims to “highlight London’s unique creative communities, independent businesses and its position as a world-leading cultural capital.”
New to the calendar this time are the aforementioned ones. Harris Reed and Standing Ground, as well as Patrick McDowell, will be featured alongside Completedworks and Edeline Lee, who have already secured spaces on the catwalk.
Mithridate also joins the programme and will show its collection in presentation format.
Returning brands include Kent & Curwen, Nensi Dojaka and Toga, while others notable will be 16Arlington, Ahluwalia, Chopova Lowena, David Roma, Dilara Findikoglu, Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Fashion East, Knwls, Richard Quinn, Roksanda, Simone Rocha and Tove.
BFC Newton’s main venue will be 180 The Strand with physical activations by Aaron Esh, Ancuta Sarca, Charlie Constantinou, Chet Lo, Di Petsa, Derrick, Harri, Johanna Parv, Karoline Vitto, Lueder, Masha Popova, Paolo Carzana, Pauline Dujancourt, Sinéad O’Dwyer, The Winter House, Tolu Coker and Yaku. Those activating digitally as scheduled include Kazna Asker, Leo Carlton and Steve O Smith.
The final physical and digital schedule will be released next month and will include further updates and specific information about the format and timings of each activation.
