The 2026 LIV Golf season is in its final stretch, with live coverage continuing on FOX Sports and streaming live on FOX One. Here's everything you need to know to follow the rest of the season.
WHAT IS LIV GOLF?
LIV Golf is a unique league with tournaments played over four rounds and 72 holes over four days, based on shotgun tees, where each group begins play simultaneously on different holes. That's a change from previous seasons, when events took place over three rounds over 54 holes. LIV's 13 four-player teams compete for both individual and team honors in each event.
WAIT, THERE ARE TEAMS?!
Yes. LIV features 13 four-player teams, including some of the biggest names in the sport: 4Aces GC, Cleeks GC, Crushers GC, Fireballs GC, HyFlyers GC, Korean Golf Club, Legion XIII, Majesticks GC, OKGC, RangeGoats GC, Ripper GC, Southern Guards GC and Torque GC.
Three teams reach 2026 with new names. Iron Heads GC is now Korean Golf Club, Stinger GC is now Southern Guards GC and Smash GC is now OKGC under new captain Talor Gooch.

The offseason brought real changes. Brooks Koepka received an early, mutually agreeable release from Smash GC (now OKGC), with Harold Varner III taking his place. Abraham Ancer moved to Torque GC and Víctor Pérez joined Cleeks GC.
VERY GOOD, RETURN TO FORMAT
The 57 players, including five wildcards, compete in 13 four-player teams. The player with the lowest score after 72 holes wins individual honors, while the team with the lowest combined score wins the team title. Competitors accumulate points for season-long individual and team championships.
HOW TO SEE
FOX One will be the home base for LIV Golf in 2026. Every round of every event is broadcast live on FOX One, and select rounds are also broadcast on the rest of the FOX family of networks, including FOX, FS1, FS2 and FOX Business Network. More than half of the show airs on FOX or FS1, with coverage also available on the FOX Sports app and for LIV Golf+ app subscribers.
AND THE WINNER IS…
Jon Rahm enters the season as the defending individual champion after shooting a career-best 11-under 60 at LIV Golf Indianapolis to surpass points leader Joaquin Niemann on the final day of the 2025 season, despite not winning a single event. Rahm's Legion XIII also enters as defending team champions, having defeated Bryson DeChambeau's GC Crushers in a playoff in the season-ending Team Championship.
The individual champion is crowned after the thirteenth event of the season, based on points earned. The team championship is decided in the fourteenth and final event, where four qualified teams play until a winner is found.
THE FUTURE OF THE PLAYERS ALSO AT STAKE
Each player's position in the final rankings determines their status in the league the following season, with players ranked in three tiers: the Lock Zone, the Open Zone and the Drop Zone at the bottom, which carries the risk of relegation.
