Hold: For most of the UFL season, DC has played like a team that would easily defend its spring football title. Then in Week 7, the Kings defeated the Defenders 30-13. In that matchup, DC QB Jordan Ta'amu had 353 passing yards and two touchdowns. However, he had two interceptions and was sacked four times. FOX Sports college football analyst RJ Young called DC's effort “unusually sloppy” and moved the Defenders to No. 3 from No. 1 in his power rankings. His odds of winning the championship also increased slightly, going from -110 to +110 after the loss.

Kings of return?: Could the Louisville Kings have a real shot at winning it all by the end of the season? After demolishing the reigning champions in Week 7, their odds increased from +2500 to +1500. Not only did they move up the odds board, but they also made a jump in RJ Young's rankings, going from No. 6 to No. 4. The Week 7 win, a victory in which they scored 27 unanswered points, snapped a three-game skid and put the Kings back in the playoff hunt.
