MAIN NEWS: Clubs will be able to activate Eze's release clause next summer
Clubs can sign Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze with a £68m offer next year, the Daily Mail reports.
The release clause in the 26-year-old's contract is reported to be triggered with an initial offer of £60m, as well as a further £8m in add-ons, and will be activated again at the end of the current season.
Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are believed to be among the clubs who have shown interest in the England international over the summer. And while the Eagles are keen on Eze signing a contract extension, it is understood the release clause will remain intact.
Eze has played a key role for manager Oliver Glasner's side so far this season, scoring in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Magpies are said to have walked away from negotiations to sign the Crystal Palace centre-back Marc GuéhI was asked to make a bid worth £70m, amid plans to use a long-term strategy to identify potential reinforcements for the team.
– Ajax have failed in their attempt to sign the Southampton winger Kamaldeen SulemanaFabrizio Romano reports. The Eredivisie side were keen to find a replacement for Steven Bergwijn after he joined Al Ittihad, but following a late submission of paperwork for the 22-year-old, they will now have to wait until January to sign him.

Manolas CoastsAccording to Nicolo Schira, the 33-year-old, who has recently been linked with AS Roma, is available to sign on a free transfer after his contract with Serie B side Salernitana expired in June. Manolas last shone in Greece’s top flight during his time at Olympiacos in 2022.
