William The 36-year-old forward travelled to Athens on Sunday evening to visit Olympiacos and discuss a possible move to the Europa Conference League champions, Fabrizio Romano reports. The 36-year-old winger has a number of options and is evaluating them as a free agent, having left Fulham when his contract expires this summer.
The former Brazil international impressed during his time with the Cottagers, scoring five goals and assisting two others in 37 appearances in all competitions last season. “I decided to leave Fulham long before the end of the season, in January or February. I had in mind that I would leave after speaking to my agent and my family. It wasn't a decision made at the end of the season, but a couple of months ago,” Willian told the BBC last week. “I'm considering a few options at the moment. I'm thinking about possibilities in Europe, England, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and MLS, but Brazil is not an option for me.”
