TOP STORY: West Ham reach agreement with BVB's Füllkrug

West Ham United are close to signing the Borussia Dortmund striker Nicholas Füllkrugaccording to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany.

A deal worth €26m plus €4m in add-ons has reportedly been agreed for the 31-year-old after the Hammers made a breakthrough during negotiations on Friday.

He is believed to have been among the first candidates for new manager Julen Lopetegui, who has reportedly been pushing for his side to secure a deal with him. The Germany international is now set to undergo a medical, having already agreed terms on a €3m-a-season salary to join the London Stadium on a three-year deal that includes the option of a further year.

Füllkrug contributed to 20 goals in 29 games for BVB in the Bundesliga last season and also stood out during his appearances for Germany at the European Championship.
