POINT PLEASANT BEACH, New Jersey – There is only one cure for a hot summer day in New Jersey: the beach.
Fight Factory Wrestling brought the sun, fresh ocean breezes and excitement to the Jersey Shore on Tuesday night when it hosted The War on the Shore 3 at Martell's Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant Beach.
Hundreds of fans brought their beach chairs, grabbed a cold drink, and watched a massive card as rising stars of the independent scene and big family names battled for some championships on the line, as well as future opportunities for those big matches.

The final co-main event of the night featured what was described as “ContentMania” between three professional wrestlers who have been making waves on social media. “Big Trouble” Ben Bishop looked to defend the Fight Factory Premier Championship against “The Most Marketable” Richard Holliday and “The Veteran” Jack Vaughn.
Holliday made it clear from the jump that no one was exempt from his “signature move,” and he applied it to Bishop early in the fight. As the match progressed, Holliday and Bishop paid tribute to WWE star Matt Cardona, once known as “Indy God,” and performed some of his moves in the ring.
Unfortunately, at one point the referee was knocked out. The championship match became a free-for-all and everyone tried to lick it before the referee woke up from his slumber. Holliday seemed to be in control when Tommy Invincible's music hit. “ContentMania” couldn't be without Invincible, which has a following comparable to that of the match.
Invincible would eliminate Holliday before the referee got going again. Bishop would turn his attention to Vaughn and ultimately pin him for the victory.
The focus was on Holliday after the game. Amid rumors of his impending move to WWE, he left his boots in the ring following a match at Game Changer Wrestling over the weekend. Would you do the same in Point Pleasant Beach?
Instead, Holliday, Bishop, Vaughn and Invincible played another wrestling trope. They took a page from the playbook of WWE legends Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Shawn Michaels and performed their own version of the infamous “Curtain Call.”
The act, which took place at a house show in 1996, saw Triple H, Nash, Hall and Michaels break character and hug each other. At that time, Nash and Hall were about to change the game and jump to World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Triple H has said that this was when he believed the Attitude Era in professional wrestling truly began.
The men who entered the ring Tuesday night also received a standing ovation. However, Invincible was not exempt from the “exclusive movement.” Holliday hit him once more and the group walked back.
Holliday's future is bright and there are still plenty of dates left on his independent schedule this month. But he did seem to give a subtle hint that he could soon be linked to NXT.

Women's Premier Championship
The other co-main event featured three of the toughest fighters the sport has to offer. Lady Frost was defending her Fight Factory Wrestling Premier Women's Championship against Steph De Lander and Allie Katch.
Each competitor was giving it their all with brutal strikes, hard suplexes and going above and beyond to try to win that championship.

The match went outside the ring in its final stages. Frost led De Lander and Katch near the entrance where a purple van was parked. He climbed to the top of the vehicle and launched a moonsault at his competitors. The move encouraged the crowd. Katch recovered and returned to the ring.
But Frost had some issues to resolve with De Lander. Frost broke through the sand and allowed De Lander, a native of Australia, to make contact with the Atlantic Ocean. He threw De Lander into the water, completely submerging his competitor. De Lander was choked out and Frost returned to the ring area.
Frost ultimately pinned Katch to retain the championship.
