While the last few months of the college basketball calendar were filled with the transfer portal, coaching changes and the NBA draft, the start of the July live evaluation period put high school recruiting back in the spotlight of the college basketball landscape.
Coaches will travel for three weekends to finalize their 2025 goals and keep an eye on the 2026 and 2027 classes. Fewer than 20 prospects on the 2025 ESPN 100 are committed, so draftees from major leagues across the country will look to use the month as an opportunity to boost their stock before diving headfirst into their recruiting efforts.
