There is still some time before the start of the Olympic Games, but tensions are already high.
France and Germany met at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, in an international friendly that apparently did not happen.
With just over two minutes left in the second quarter and the French leading the Germans 41-23, Dennis Schröder, who also plays for the Brooklyn Nets, drove to the basket and was fouled by Evan Fournier, a free agent who played for the Knicks and Pistons last season.

Schröder took offense at the foul and quickly approached Fournier and said a few words to him. Fournier, however, counterattacked almost immediately by placing his hands around Schröder's neck.
The two were quickly separated and Fournier was ejected for his actions.
