United won the Women's FA Cup at the weekend, beating Tottenham 4-0 at Wembley. But she only learned that the club's traditional annual end-of-season awards were canceled after the news became public.
The end-of-season awards dinner was canceled due to scheduling issues ahead of the men's FA Cup final on May 25 against Manchester City.

But the women's team only found out about this after several players changed their vacation plans to attend the dinner, a source told ESPN.
At the awards dinner, players are traditionally recognized for their performances during the season. United's women's team has its final game of the season on Saturday against Chelsea and the dinner was originally scheduled for next week.
