Liverpool complete their 2024-25 kit with a white third shirt

After releasing an all-black away shirt earlier this month, Liverpool have completed their look for the 2024-25 season with a white third alternate jersey.

The shirt is decorated with minimal detailing in flashes of the club's traditional red and yellow colours, and the fabric itself is given added texture thanks to a woven pattern based partially on the feathers found on the wings of the liver bird's crest.

Opposite the LFC crest is the inverted double Swoosh logo that Nike has placed on several of its most notable third kits this season.

To top off the outfit, the white shirt is paired with black shorts and white socks to produce a colour combination that Liverpool have regularly revisited over the years.

Unlike the away kit shorts, which have teal, white, and gray hoops around the calves, the third kit shorts have red logos and white trim on the sides.

Liverpool are one of several clubs to have used their new Nike third kit to pay tribute to women's football and those pioneering players who have represented their team since its formation in the late 1980s.

To further strengthen the link with Liverpool’s women’s teams, many of the Reds’ current stars have been involved in the launch kit with players such as Taylor Hinds, Olivia Smith and Mia Enderby alongside men’s representatives Mohamed Salah, Darwin Núñez and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Other clubs to have new third kits in the “Together We Rise” collection include Chelsea (whose women’s team unveiled their new 1970s punk-inspired shirt in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal on Sunday), Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur.
