Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan met in the Queen of the Ring finals on Saturday at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia with a chance at a championship match at SummerSlam.
Morgan had the advantage of already being the women's world champion before the match. If she wins, she would have a shot at Rhea Ripley's WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam in August. If Sky won, she would have to choose between Morgan and Ripley.

Unfortunately for Morgan, Danhausen turned to the champion and put a “curse” on her. Morgan and his Doomsday cronies attempted to bribe Danhausen into cursing his opponents. When Morgan told Danhausen that he owed them money, Danhausen ignored him and cast the curse on him. Morgan responded with a slap and a rejection of voodoo.
As the match began and progressed throughout the night, the WWE Universe may have truly begun to accept the curse. Morgan did everything he could to try to lock Sky up. He went to the high rent district but Sky stood up and responded.

Sky hit Morgan with a Spanish Fly and then set her up for the Over the Moonsault. He pulled it off perfectly and pinned Morgan for the win.
Sky is the Queen of the Ring.
She spoke to Byron Saxton after the match and wasted no time declaring her intentions to go after the Women's World Championship.
“Liv, I'll see you at SummerSlam,” Sky said.
Thus, Sky vs. Morgan was the first match scheduled for SummerSlam. The two-day event will take place at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on August 1-2.

Sky has already held the WWE Women's Championship and the Women's World Championship once each. A victory in August would make her a three-time champion.
