Fabio Carvalho returns to Liverpool after his loan spell at RB Leipzig ended prematurely.
The 21-year-old winger joined the German side on a season-long loan in June, but has only made three starts in a total of 15 appearances in all competitions for the team so far this season.

Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schroder said on the team’s website that “both sides expected more from his stay here, especially Fabio in terms of playing time.”
“Due to the quality and competence of our team in their position, we cannot guarantee this to you,” Schroder said. “We had several conversations over the past few days and in the end decided to cancel his loan early.”
Carvalho, who played for the Portuguese under-21 team, moved to Liverpool from Fulham in the summer of 2022 and has played 21 times for the Reds, scoring three goals.
