Tommy Doyle is now a former soccer player at the age of 26.
The offensive line of the Buffalo Bills announced Friday that it retires due to “permanent” lesions.
Doyle has not appeared in a game since week 3 of season 2022, and an injury he suffered during the 2023 preseason left him with nervous damage.

He scratched an ACL in 2022.
“I was really fighting, competing and working to return from that injury, just to be beaten with even more disastrous injury,” Doyle said. “But, at the end of the day, there were many negative emotions and anger … … making a lot of reflection lately and looking back, I learned many valuable lessons.
