Here's what you should know about this odds board.

The favorites: France and Spain are the favorites to win the tournament, making them big favorites to at least reach the second round of the knockout phase. In 2014, France reached the quarterfinals, followed by a championship in 2018 and a runners-up finish in 2022. The last time they failed to get out of the group stage was in 2010. For Spain, they lost in the round of 16 in both 2022 and 2018, and failed to get out of the group stage in 2014, after winning the World Cup in 2010.

The host nations: Each of the three host nations (USA, Mexico and Canada) are in the race to emerge from their respective groups and win their round of 32 showdown. Mexico has a familiar relationship with the round of 16, having lost every tournament from 1994 to 2018 in that round: seven consecutive tournaments. In 2022, Mexico failed to get out of the group stage. As for the United States, they reached the round of 16 in 2022, failed to qualify for the tournament in 2018, and reached the round of 16 in 2014 and 2010. Lastly, Canada has never won or drawn a match in the World Cup, much less managed to get out of the group stage.

Mexico and the United States top their groups after winning their first group stage matches. Meanwhile, Canada finds itself in a four-way tie in Group B after its opening draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
