To the editor: How can a fire chief responsible for bad decision -making lead to a possible bonanza financed by taxpayers for their lawyers (“The fire chief of the, says that Bass conducted an erroneous information campaign, s defamed to save himself.” August 20)? He Los Angeles Times research reports He discovered the truth. According to the reports, it had “approximately 1,000 firefighters available and dozens of water transport engines” that could have collapsed. The rapid reaction of these equipment and fire equipment to detect fire could have made the difference. Meteorological information provided to the fire chief was his obligation to act. Kristin Crowley's degradation is completely justified.

To the editor: Crowley has a very valid claim against Mayor Karen Bass and the city. The bass must be responsible for this unfair degradation. You must return your work to Crowley and avoid a multi -million dollar settlement.
