Journalists must join and go back against Pentagon restrictions

To the editor: Who would have thought, of all influential institutions attacked by the Trump administration (Blancas Sneakers Bar Associations, prestigious universities, inherited media/news organizations and large corporations), it would be comedians who would have the courage to stay united, support and stay high in their defense, even as the powerful drop and capitular?

Pentagon journalists and their accredited bosses should learn a lesson from these brave fun men in front of President Trump and the recent assault of the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at the 1st amendment, which requires them to only inform information that the Government wants to publish (“Pentagon increases media restrictions, which require approval before informing even unlacified information,” September 21). Even unacigated information cannot be published without approval.

Imagine if all the journalists of Legacy and other renowned points of sale and refused to attend press conferences, presidential interviews, cabinet meetings, seats on Air Force One or any other opportunity that Trump has to speak less and even the entire independence to write about the pentagon is restored. How long would it take for that to happen?

I guess Jimmy Kimmel took less time to return to the air.
