To the editor: When is enough? I am crying when a senator of my state is mistreated to the ground for asking questions (“California senator Alex Padilla eliminated by force, handcuffed during Kristi Noem's press conference,” “ June 12). How could the “security” of the Secretary of National Security Kristi Noem assault our senator for exercising their constitutional rights? Whether Senator Alex Padilla was a government representative or not, all this is part of our rights as citizens, as the 1st amendment grant it.
In addition to all the affronts for the contempt of President Trump of our laws, this is at the end of the dictatorship. All senators and representatives must face this outrageous contempt of our laws. The POSSE Comitatus Law is not a suggestion, nor the Constitution is. It is time for Republicans to defend our country. Do they really mind going to history as sedicious cowards?
I am a 78 -year -old Los Angeles and I have never been so angry with the behavior of government officials in my life. I have seen President Nixon Lie and the Iran-Contra disaster under President Reagan, in addition to many other incidents where officials violated the law. This is much worse. Our rights are at stake. If my mobility was not affected, I would protest with my angelen classmates. Defend us!

To the editor: Noem can shoot helpless animals, but you can't answer questions from a senator from the United States. Is it really capable of guaranteeing the national security of our nation? It does not look like.
