Zac Brown's ex-wife spoke out after she was granted a temporary restraining order.
Kelly Yazdi, who was married to Brown for just four months before the country music star filed for divorce, shared her side of the story following allegations that she violated a confidentiality and employee agreement. Yazdi shared a handful of posts on Instagram in which she accused Brown of “narcissistic abuse.” The “Chicken Fried” singer responded by filing a restraining order, which was granted by a Georgia court.
“No one – not even Zac Brown with all his money, power, celebrity and lawyers – can silence my right to express myself freely through art or, although to date I have refused to do so publicly, to speak about the circumstances of my life. . our pending divorce,” he wrote in a statement shared on TikTok.
“I intend to respond quickly and firmly to your baseless complaint that posting two poems on my personal social media account disclosed any 'confidential information' about your business, much less authorize a court to ban me from speaking about matters in my personal life that have nothing to do with my previous brief work for Zac Brown Collective, Inc.”

Brown sought an emergency restraining order, injunctive relief and damages “arising from various past violations and threats” of a confidentiality agreement Yazdi had signed on May 17.
“After much deliberation, I have taken steps to enforce an agreement between us to keep personal and business matters confidential and to protect my family from online harassment and speculation,” a rep for Brown told Fox News Digital in a statement. release. “My only hope is that we keep private matters private and move forward with the mutual respect we had agreed to show each other when we parted ways.”
The Georgia court granted the restraining order, meaning Yazdi would have to remove Instagram posts that allegedly violated the confidentiality agreement, Fox News Digital confirmed.

Brown and Yazdi announced they were divorcing in December after four months of marriage.
“We are in the process of divorcing. Our mutual respect remains,” they said in a joint statement to Fox News Digital at the time.
“We wish each other the best and will always cherish our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply ask for privacy during this time.”
Before marrying Yazdi, Brown was married to his ex-wife Shelly for 12 years.
