The body of a 38-year-old woman was discovered Thursday in a luxury New York City hotel room, police said.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to Fox News Digital that a hotel employee found a 38-year-old woman unresponsive and unresponsive inside her hotel room in SoHo in Manhattan around 10:30 am.
Authorities said his body was found in the 11th floor room of the SoHo 54 hotel.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene and pronounced the woman dead.

The mysterious death occurs in the middle of the illustrious New York Fashion Week.
“I'm only here for fashion week, so I'm just here to sleep,” one woman told Fox News Digital. “It was very scary.”
Footage taken outside the hotel showed a large NYPD presence surrounding the area.
“At first we were scared, we thought he was an abusive boyfriend or something,” one woman told Fox News Digital. “It was scary because he went so long without a response.”

“[Police] “They were banging on the next door,” the woman added.
Another woman said she saw a woman talking to hotel management and then authorities ran upstairs to the woman's room.
“There was a woman going to the front desk and she was screaming,” another woman said. “The police came up and tried to keep everyone calm.”

“Everyone was shocked and stressed,” he said.
The Medical Examiner's Office is investigating and will determine the cause of death.
Police said there have been no arrests and authorities continue to investigate the incident.
