A video from Jacumba, California, shows the moment two large vans stop at the border before dozens of migrants leave and cross illegally into the United States.

Jacumba is located in the eastern part of San Diego County and is monitored by the San Diego Sector of the Border Patrol.

The sector has seen a large increase in border crossings in recent days as Texas continues its efforts to close its southern border with Mexico.

In video filmed by FOX Nation's Bud Knapp, dozens of migrants are seen leaving the area of two large pickup trucks and walking toward the border wall.

When the immigrants reach the end of the section of wall, they are seen turning the corner and entering the United States illegally.

The migrants then realize they are being recorded and begin to run, and the two all-terrain vehicles leave the area.

Knapp said those in the group included nationals from China, Turkey, Brazil and India, adding that only one Border Patrol agent was nearby when the crossing occurred.

Last week, a group of former FBI officials warned of a “new and imminent danger” to the United States at the southern border, suggesting that the country has been invaded by foreign nationals of military age.

In a letter sent to House and Senate lawmakers, the former officials warned that the United States faced a “new and imminent danger,” noting that there were more than 302,000 migrant encounters in December after a record fiscal year of 2023, in which there were 2.4 million encounters with immigrants.

The ten officials include former FBI deputy directors Kevin Brock and Chris Swecker, former Terrorist Detection Center director Timothy Healy and former acting Customs and Border Protection commissioner Mark Morgan, who is also a former FBI superintendent.

The letter was written at a time when border security is a top political issue. Republicans have blamed the immigration crisis on Biden-era policies and a reversal of Trump-era policies. The administration says it needs more funding and reforms to fix a “broken” system and address a hemispheric crisis. DHS has also noted an increase in returns of illegal immigrants, even more since May than in all of fiscal year 2019.
