The United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is investigating a social media account allegedly associated with a high-powered executive who regularly referred to white people as “snow cockroaches” and made other derogatory comments about white people and republicans.
USAGM is made up of six entities, including Voice of America, with the shared goal of “informing, engaging and connecting people around the world in support of freedom and democracy,” according to its website. The site indicates that “USAGM entities communicate with more than 410 million people around the world each week.”
Conservative account End Wokeness said Friday that it discovered an account belonging to USAGM Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of IT Operations James “JR” Reeves that has posted several derogatory comments about white people.

Earlier this month, the account wrote, “Cry over this, snow cockroaches,” to caption a meme that read, “Keep the immigrants, deport the racists.” The account also responded to several messages by calling the user a “snow cockroach” and suggesting he was uneducated or racist.
“Last time I checked, it's the snow cockroaches that are angry at immigrants,” the account wrote on February 12, while another message posted the same day said: “Just like the other snow cockroaches , resort to racist tropes when you can't construct a logical argument. Clearly uneducated. Stats on,” according to a video posted by End Wokeness.
Another alleged post from the account associated with Reeves read: “You believe all the 'Republican' talking points. Plus, you're a racist idiot. Immigrants shouldn't have more rights. But just to help, I've hosted several immigrant families to help! Now stay alert! #snowroach.”
The story also wrote: “By 2045, snow cockroaches will be a minority. That scares you… #welfarequeens,” according to End Wokeness, with a snapshot of a Pew Research Center finding on the decline of the white population in the US in the last decade.
USAGM says it is investigating the veracity of the social media posts in question.
“The US Agency for Global Media does not tolerate intolerance in any form. We began investigating this matter as soon as we became aware of it and are investigating the veracity of the tweets. We do not publicly comment on personnel matters and will take any appropriate action based on our findings. “a spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

In addition to Voice of America, USAGM consists of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Office of Cuba Broadcasting, Radio Free Asia, Middle East Broadcasting Networks and Open Technology Fund.
The account supposedly belonging to Reeves, @devast8nSigma, was blocked, apparently after End Wokeness highlighted the offensive messages.
End Wokeness claimed that “Reeves posted photos of himself on this account several times over the years” and “used this account to demonize white people, label them snow cockroaches, and celebrate their demographic decline.” The account's bio referenced Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, where Reeves is listed as regional director on its website.

Fox News Digital was unable to contact Reeves directly. USAGM did not immediately respond when asked for comment.
Reeves is responsible for “directly overseeing telecommunications networks, server infrastructure, data management, and IT security and modernization efforts,” according to USAGM's website. He previously worked for the United States Department of Justice.
