President Donald Trump warned that New York will never be the same if the City Hall of New York City Zohran Mamdani is elected.
Mamdani is a Muslim born in Uganda who won the primary of the Democratic Party for the Mayor of New York City in June and identifies as a Democratic socialist.
But Trump said New Yorkers should not launch their ballot for the Assemblyman of the New York state of Queens, whom he described as “a man who is not very capable in my opinion, apart from the fact that he has a good bull line,-“.

“No. 1, you have a communist career, and you should not vote for him,” Trump said during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. “It's a disaster. He is leading. He has the Democratic nomination because that shows you where the Democrats have left.”
“I am not getting involved, but I can tell you this: I used to say that we will never be a socialist country. Well. Well, I will say it again. We will not have, if a communist is chosen to execute New York, it can never be the same.”
Mamdani did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.
Trump previously criticized Mamdani and threatened to arrest him if he refused to comply with federal immigration officials. Trump's comments occurred after Mamdani said in June that he would stop the “masked” officials of immigration and customs compliance (ICE) of “deporting our neighbors.”

“Well, then we will have to arrest it,” Trump told the White House journalists on July 1. “Look, we don't need a communist in this country, but if we have one, I will monitor them very carefully in the name of the nation. We send money. We send you all the things you need to direct a government.”
In response, Mamdani issued a statement claiming that Trump's comments were equivalent to an assault on democracy.
“The president of the United States simply threatened to arrest me, stripped of my citizenship, put a field of detention and deported,” Mamdani said. “Not because I have violated any law, but because I will refuse to let the ice terrify our city.”
“Their statements not only represent an attack against our democracy, but an attempt to send a message to all New Yorkers who refuse to hide in the shadows: if you speak, they will come for you,” said Mamdani.
Trump has also criticized Mamdani after the 33 -year -old refused to condemn the term “globalize the intifada.”

“Frankly, I have heard that it is a total job,” Trump told journalists on July 1. “I think people in New York are crazy because they follow this route. I think they are crazy. We will have a communist in the first place, really a pure and true communist. He wants to operate the grocery stores. The store stores. What about the people who are there? I think it's crazy.”
Mamdani said in a June interview with NBC News that he did not want to condemn the term “globalize intifada”, a phrase used to support Palestinian resistance against Israel, because he did not want “police language.”
Mamdami has received criticism from the Democrats for refusing to present a position on the phrase, even from the leader of the representatives minority, Hakeem Jeffries of New York. Jeffries told ABC News on the Sunday of June that the term was not “acceptable phrase.”
