Trump Revoca Fauci Security Team

President Donald Trump confirmed on Friday that he ended the security team provided to Dr. Anthony Fauci at the expense of the taxpayer.

The National Health Institutes (NIH) requested safety for Fauci in 2020 to protect it from the threats that received a maximum health official and public spokesman during the Covid-19 pandemic. But that detail was revealed on Thursday night, CNN reported for the first time.

Trump was asked about the decision on Friday while visiting Asheville, North Carolina, to tour the areas affected by Hurricane Helene.

“I think when you work for the government, at some point your security team disappears and you can't have it forever,” Trump said.

“We also remove some of other people, but you cannot have a security detachment for the rest of your life because you work for the government,” he added.

Previously, Trump revoked the security authorizations of 51 intelligence officials who had mistaken and the former Secretary of State Mike. Pompeo
