Trump mocks “crazy” De Niro in his late-night speech after the actor's chaotic press conference

Former President Trump derided Robert De Niro as “pathetic” and “crazy” after the liberal actor's chaotic lecture Tuesday outside a Manhattan courthouse was widely ridiculed.

In a late-night post on Truth Social, Trump lashed out at the two-time Academy Award winner who has angrily attacked Trump for years, claiming on Tuesday that Trump “wants to destroy” the city and the nation and could eventually destroy the entire world. . .

“I never knew how small, both mentally and physically, crazy former actor Robert De Niro was,” Trump wrote around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday.

“Today, De Niro, suffering from an incurable case, commonly known in the medical community as TDS, found himself, outside the Courthouse, with a force far greater than the Radical Left – MAGA.”

“Robert, whose films, art and brand have DROPPED A LOT IN VALUE since he entered the political arena at the behest of corrupt Joe Biden, looked so pathetic and sad out there,” Trump said. “Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio!!!”

Conservatives compared the news conference, which was interrupted by boos and a car alarm, to an episode of the satirical HBO show “Veep.”

“Donald Trump wants to destroy not just the city, but the country. And eventually he could destroy the world,” De Niro fumed, reading prepared remarks Tuesday.

“I owe a lot to this city. And that's why it's so strange that Donald Trump is across the street because he doesn't belong in my city. I don't know where he belongs, but he certainly doesn't belong here. We New Yorkers used to tolerate him when he wasn't more than just another dirty real estate scammer disguised as a big shot,” De Niro added.

De Niro was joined by Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler, who called Trump an “agent of chaos,” as well as former D.C. Metropolitan Police Department officer Michael Fanone and former D.C. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn, who were present at the Capitol during the January 6 riot.

They have been deeply critical of Trump's conduct surrounding the riots and said he is unfit to return to office.

After the remarks concluded, the situation soon descended into chaos as Trump supporters heckled De Niro as he left the podium. He even got into a shouting match with a man in a MAGA hat who called him a “washed up actor.”

The Trump campaign held a separate press conference on Tuesday, following the Biden campaign's press conference with De Niro.

Trump campaign senior adviser Steven Cheung called the Biden camp's press conference “election interference of the highest level.”

“Corrupt Joe Biden and his campaign are completely crazy,” he added.
