A man sitting in a car was shot and wounded at dawn on Saturday in Lincoln Heights after two men who fled in an electric scooter approached, the police said.
The victim, identified as a 48 -year -old Latin man, was taken to ambulance to a nearby hospital where it was reported that it was stable, said spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department, Norma Eisenman. The shooting was reported around 1:15 am
According to the researchers, two men described as Latin approached the victim while sitting in their car near Humbolt Street and Avenue 23 in Lincoln Heights, adjacent to interstate 5.
The men had an argument, said Eisenman. “Then he suspected that two produced a firearm and handed it to suspect from one, who shot multiple shots.”
After the shooting, the gunman and his partner fled in an electric scooter in an unknown direction, Eisenman said. The researchers did not report whether the victim was driving the car or parked at the time of the shooting.
